There is no indication of RFID protection, no etching/embossing announcing the feature. The design does flex nicely to accommodate added thickness but an inch thick wallet is not very appealing. Fully loaded, the wallet gets very bloated very quickly. I am not a fan of the Mesh on the ID slot, I prefer to flash my ID at someone as opposed to removing it. There is no bill pocket at all and the money clip design feels very inadequate. The pockets are spaced nicely and lined with a medium-coarse fabric to aid card removal and reduce overall density.ĭesign is my biggest pet peeve. The mesh itself feels like a stiff nylon grid similar to what's used in screen doors, mine was manufactured with the mesh slightly crooked which aggravates my sensibilities. The ID slot has a mesh screen that obscures whatever in in the slot, making it necessary to remove ID instead of flashing it. Stitching is pretty good but I do have a questionable spot on the edge under the money clip that looks like the stitching needle didn't clear the leather completely and tore the seam so it looks like 6mm stitches instead of 3mm. embossing and etching are well done though a little difficult to read on the light shade of the leather. Even with the wallet folded (no bills in clip), smacking it against my hand easily dislodges the clip.Ĭonstruction quality is decent. The clip slides in from the bottom and with the difficulties staying secure it wants to slip out of its pocket with any decent quantity of bills behind it. The money clip itself has a flexible stem that slides into a slot in the wallet with a curved clip that is hinged to more easily secure bills. The leather is a bit on the thin side which might not typically be detracting but the center money clip relies on the friction from the leather to stay in place and does a poor job of keeping it secure. The color is a little on the light side though it is consistent and evenly dyed. Packaging was decent, the wallet came in a box suitable for gifting and wrapped in a light almost burlap bag. I can't say that I'm a fan of this wallet. It is the pefect gift for Groomsmen, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Father's Day, Christmas and other Special Occasions.
